Award-winning social enterprise
Well Grounded is an award-winning social enterprise, launched in 2016 to support the UK’s unemployed with the skills to access sustainable careers in coffee.
We run a series of Specialty Coffee Training Academies for adults not in education, employment or training. We empower people with the skills, training, mentorship and qualifications they need to access work in the specialty coffee industry. Our aftercare programme transitions over 70% of our Graduates into work, further training and education and provides ongoing free wellbeing and coffee training. Our career accelerator programmes empower progression for the entire workforce.

Our Story
Born from a pilot project in East London, Well Grounded now runs a series of speciality coffee training academies for people looking for work in London & Bristol. Our programmes empower individuals with the skills to thrive in life, covering technical coffee and hospitality qualifications, employability skills and access to sustainable job opportunities. Our aftercare and career accelerator programmes offer further development to help individuals progress in their careers.
